The TRPM8 SAGA continues, however this time the protagonist is not the channel but the RNA.
Welcome Mariapaola and Federico!
Mariapaola Bogatti and Federico Cutrupi, current MSc students at the University of Trento, are joining our laboratory for their MSc thesis projects.
Mariapaola holds a BSc from University of Trieste, whereas Federico holds a BSc from University of Perugia. Both are deeply interested in cancer biology and organoid development!!
Mariapaola will work with Alessandro on TRPM8 channels, PSMA and Prostate Cancer !
Federico will work with Dario in order to understand better and improve our 3D Prostate Organoids!
Welcome and Good Luck!
New papers from Lunardi’s lab are out!
Proud to share our two papers on mouse #prostate #organoids published in EMBO Reports (@emboreports) and Cancer Letters (@OncologyAdvance)

THANKS to all collaborators and friends!
Congratulations Dr. Dario De Felice!
Our PhD student Dario De Felice successfully defended his PhD thesis about his project “Modelling Prostate Cancer with 3D Organoids” at the University of Trento, obtaining the PhD in Biomolecular Sciences!
Congratulations Dr. De Felice, the whole lab is extremely proud of you and wish you a brilliant career ahead.
Ad maiora!
Lunardi Lab
First Lunardi’s Lab paper is out!
We are thrilled to share our first paper, online this week, in Nature Cell Death & Disease!
Alessandro Alaimo and colleagues describe the pharmacological activation of TRPM8 channel in primary and hormone naïve metastatic models of prostate cancer (PCa) which sensitizes PCa cells to standard-of-care clinical protocols for the treatment of locally advanced PCa.
Congratulations to Alessandro Alaimo, Andrea Lunardi and all the authors and collaborators!
Ad Maiora!
